    Looked a very good athlete to me, but strikes me as one of those players that will spend his career bouncing from one manager that thinks they can improve him to another.

    All I can say to that is it is a good job our double barrelled right back isn't called Miles Devereaux-Forteqsque other wise they would have had him for their shed as well.

    Think having Kenny Jackett as manager may have influenced Wood to move there. Happy with Adams here at City, but would have been equally chuffed with Jackett. Good manager, looks after his players.

    Someone isn’t reading it right. A club is “interested” all of a sudden becomes a “player” is interested.

    Mutually not the same I agree.

    I won't be surprised if Wood ends up at another league two club. He has regressed this past 18 months, despite what many think , not good enough for league 1 yet in my opinion. Still young enough to improve and move up the league's but needs a new challenge.

    Well he's definitely going somewhere. Because he ain't here anymore. Orient is the strong rumor.

    I'd have kept Wood myself.

    Horrific first season, very good second season, middling third season.

    If Evans turned his head then the lad is a fool. You can't simply coast to a good deal with a League One club.

    Still, the notion someone would pay a fee for a 23 year old left back was a poor joke.
