Hope they live up to the long build up, think they were mentioned when ML & JR were in charge, plus it is a 5 year deal

Excellent news….many away grounds cater great burgers and hot dogs….I don’t mean “Bobs Burgers” in a van outside.

“Time” has moved many younger fans away from the traditional pie and bovril era

Well done to Sparks and his team for the delivery and good luck to Tiffin

 

Weren’t they supposed to come on board before erm Rahic ruined it? Best of luck to them, I’ll certainly give it a go, expect much better quality than our previous contract.

 

Sounds like pretty unimaginative fayre. The usual burgers, hot dogs etc. I hope they still do balti pies!

On the other hand, they are making a big deal about speed of service, so you don't have to miss half the game to get served at half time. If they can sort that out it'll be a massive improvement.

Happy the catering has changed but surely at least somebody tried some of the food before signing a five year contract. I have no comment to make on the names of those hot food items. I literally do not know what to say. Did someone do some market research at a local nursery and a kid there came up with "Bantam Burger" ?!

 

We call it unimaginative, kids don’t.

Remember the days at the back of the Bradford End?
Ones choice was seabrook crisps, plain and cheese & onion. Meat and potato pies ( good), beef tea, Kit Kat’s and get this…pints of cider. Now that isn’t exactly Gordon Ramsey Offy?

 

Of course they know the fayre, it’s press speak.

99% certain it’s been tried.

 

Isn't it better to say how nice it is and that they can't wait for the fans to taste it?

 

This sounds okay, speed and convenience in a time limited environment... Throw in value, and you've got a sensible, pragmatic product.

Hopefully there's a decent range beyond the burgers and hot dogs. Hopefully it's good quality fare, too

 

Burgers and hot dogs... Its initial concept has not bought me. You can stick a fancy slogan around it but it ain't working for me. Ill eat that sort of 'food' odd few times a year...

Not totally off put, but I'm already in the mindset of food away from Valley Parade prematch.

 

Key question is whether variety is allowed or not. Different vendors, or Tiffin exclusively?

 

How come the Bantam burger is not a chicken burger?

 

I like the fact it's a local company that's got the catering contract and their not a small organisation so stock levels shouldn't be a problem on match days.
