Yes I’d have gone for the German chap , aka Barnsley, but within our mind set and budget, Adams should do fine

Sorry don’t have any names, and it is difficult to say what our budget is. He certainly doesn’t have me whooping for joy that is for sure. However, more than happy to be proved wrong. Nevertheless he has to produce promotion nothing else will do.

 

Carlos Mendes Gomes hopefully will follow him, Stockton as well

 

Rangers want Gomes and a few league 1 sides are wanting Stockton.

 

But not Morecambe's..?

You get a disciplinarian, teetotal, deeply religious manager with a fierce temper; and I think you get a very good chance of promotion next season. Bloody hell you lot have stooped even lower than us!!!
Stockton is bloody useless, one of the worst centre forwards I've ever seen at Brunton Park, he can't jump any higher than his standing height, looses the ball more times than a blind man with one leg and has to be told (in a very simple language) where the back of the net is, he's been a bit of an improvement at Morcambe granted, that wouldn't be hard mind!! but Bradford can and should sign far better.

Got to say i am not bowled over by his charisma or footballing prowess but if he can replicate Parkinson then City will be leaving the khazi league sooner than later.

A Plymouth Argyle fan here.
You will get promoted but it won't be exciting or pretty.

DA has no family so there's no distractions, football is his life.
His team will be journey man players with one or two flair players.

He'll play a flat back 4 in a 4-1-2-3 formation or sometimes he'll have 2 sitting defensive midfield players. He'll play with one striker flanked by two others, usually these are strikers playing wide.

Tactically he's very good and uses his substitutions well. If the one or two flair players don't perform the football can become dour, he wins a lot of games 1-0.

He'll big up his achievements and will get under the noses of opposition managers and players.

Starting off everything will be fine but as Ross County fans warned Argyle fans Adams will start to be annoying once the team struggles. Adams doesn't take kindly to criticism and will react to the fans frustrations.

He won't be easy to get along with for your local media guys.

In summary, Adams is a very good manager, he knows how to win games and is at his best as the underdog on a low budget, getting the best out of journeymen mediocre players. It won't be pretty but it'll be effective.
