Its like I said yesterday, why would Morecambe allow it? I know I wouldn't if I was their Chairman. Why would they allow their manager to be potentially distracted during the biggest few games in their history? Just doesn't add up whatsoever. Surely they would've been better served telling us to wait until after the playoffs before they allowed us to speak to him? From a common sense perspective I just can't see it.

 

I think it was all done and dusted probably three weeks ago quite honestly I think it would be a major surprise if it was anybody else

 

My head says you are right, but there’s a big outside chance we have created his recruitment with nothing but circumstantial evidence. This is the first time I can remember this happening over 60 years. Mind you that’s social media in action?

 

My gut feeling is, it’s someone else, but hey I’m not a gambler

I think sky bet have found out it’s not Adam’s and though to make some money it will end up being Paul Jewell I reckon

 

I'm in two minds on this. Park of me, the bit that would crawl naked over broken glass just to stick a matchstick in his turds, says I would love him back. The other bit, the bit that would really hate to see him fail and "do a Stuart" says a big no. If it happens I'll be delighted and pray it all goes well. If it doesn't I wont lose any sleep over what could have been.

I really don't see Parky as being the kind of man who would go back on something he's done well before. He's more likely to dust himself down and go again (elsewhere)

Almost too huge to comprehend. Imagine walking into a job and people expect the second coming of a messiah ? That's why I don't think he would risk it. In fact, I think he would take any job in L2 over it because of those expectations.

 

I would, but the package I would want to even speak to him would be beyond our comprehension

 

Yes patience is the key. There wouldn’t be much to talk about until the player recruitment starts otherwise?

 

As it's not Wellens, those who voted for him (like me) should go back and alter their choices.

 

I'm certainly hoping that Morecombe lose out to Tranmere in the playoff semi finals, so we can all be put out of our misery one way or another, sooner rather than later.

Still, I won't lose sleep over it. I'm neither a style fascist, nor am I fussed if Adams doesn't pander to every individual player. Good article for balance, though, and I had no idea he started as part of a father-son team!

 

Having seen all four play off hopefuls I would put Morecambe as favourites Forest Green were very poor. Newport were more than lucky to beat us and I wasn’t impressed with Tranmere although if Vaughan is fit it might be different although losing their manager won’t help

Bookies didn't open a book straight away but obviously know something now and decided to make some money
That list is full of the usual suspects and I wouldn't rule any of them out
Just hope after all this we are not left disappointed

 

Because we'll have paid him and Morecambe to do so. I've signed a few NDA's in my time, and if Adams is our new manager, an extra financial agreement has been made to not even make a 'no comment' from their CEO, him or Morecambe.

 

True I just think that for someone to do the retained list it had to be someone that new how the players have played to judge wether to keep which made me think of jewell
