Agree totally with this and it would explain why the incoming manager would have been able to have input into the retained list - but to throw a spanner in the works I have been told not to bank on it being Wellans! I hope we will all be clearer tomorrow

 

If it is Adam's, it goes against Spark's version of long-termism. Adam's is quoted as saying a manager should stay at a club no longer than three years.

 

3 years is way more than long-termism for us mate!!

I think a manager faced with the play offs and fighting for promotion for his current employer should be concentrating solely on that. It’s what we would expect from our incumbent

Im pretty sure he is big enough to multi task and spend a couple of hours in his week discussing our retained list and transfer targets. Only takes one meeting then the go ahead. I mean he could probably do it after his tea. 7-9pm when Morecombe dont need him.

Not saying its happening, but it is entirely possible. If Adams is the man he has probably already negotiated his deal to move here.

First time I've thought this guy might be in way over his head if his focus is purely on the job he personally is doing instead of the actual performance of the club.

Because the club is stuck in the past like the rest of the city. Those running the club, like those running the city have no ambition. Just like our happy clapper fans and their sad obsession in bring back ex players back to manage us.
