    Decided to give this fixture a miss for the first time in years. Now have alternative arrangements on Saturday. The fact we have 3 home games in very close succession was a major influence.

    As Rochdale are now in the relegation zone, and are playing a team that is struggling (us), then I think they will have to come at us and that will give us the chance to counter attack.

    Hold them until half time and I think they will become more desperate. Bizarrely I think we can win this match, perhaps score two.

    Can't think of a single major entity in sports or business that doesn't actively encourage ticket sales.

    A lot of marketing is crap, but it's not 'tinpot' just because someone doesn't like it.

    I have no idea why someone would complain about something they aren't forced to see or receive.

    It's crap if it's a stand alone email.

    But really, I'd rather the club sent me news by email than expect me to check out the website, because I won't.

    If the club can maintain a positive, consistent, non-preachy, non-begging tone throughout the whole of next season, they can feel free to send me two-three emails a week.

    It's not a lot for something I'm emotionally invested in.

    It will hopefully negate the need to comment upon every single communication, which I understand, looks a bit weird on it's own.

    Regular, consistent information is fine by me.

    Woah .... It's quite simple. Marketing sends out whatever crap it feels fit. As punters, or consumers WE decide WHAT we want. That is not to say WE should either applaud or slam any promoter. The choice is ours to make.
    What irks me most, are those that question OUR choices or views. 'Take it or leave it', as they say ....
