    Ryan Lowe may want to move back up north in the summer, 2 promotions from this league playing good football. Richie Wellens free agent again won the league playing good football.

    Players will look how we play before deciding to sign, with these two in charge we’ll struggle to attract quality players. Admit you made a mistake Sparks and bite the bullet and sack them. It should have only been until the end of the season as I repeated enough times but it’s not irreversible.

    I wonder if after 5 straight defeats, T&S may consider to stand down, return to coaching the younger players. It is a dire run. The Forest Green result perhaps lured a lot of us into a false sense of optimism. They may as well see the season out and we can then review the situation, with options in place for an early resolution, ahead of recruiting new players. Tonight was dire.

    McCall went in 17/18 after 5 on the spin but had 7 defeats in 9 in that spell too.

    Bowyer lost 7 on the bounce after winning his first game in charge. He lost 3 of his last 14 games leading to the sack the season after.

    McCall this season lost 5 in a row but his last 10 games in charge lead us to 4 points.

    Just let this sink in:

    If we’d have won just 3 of these past 5 pathetic defeats we’d have been sat in the play-offs right now.

    Crawley, Harrogate, Tranmere, Port Vale, Salford.

    We got 0 points from these 5 games when we were chasing the play offs.

    Trueman and Sellars - thank you but it’s time to step down at the end of the season.

    Eddie Davies waived a lot of the debt owed to him when he sold the club and then they went into administration two years ago clearing more of the debts. That’s how the cleared the £200m of debt they had when the dropped out of the PL.

    Knowing city they will be allowed to start the new season before being sacked, by then they will have signed more dead wood players.
