Always the optimist mate, yes very unlikely but as I posted let's beat Rochdale (which is no gimmie) then onto MK Dons, it will be interesting to come on here at 10pm Tuesday night if we have collected 6 points from the two games.

 

I agree, if we had £400,000 to spend we should be getting more for our money than those three. I'd only take Reeves and Shay if they were free, to be honest. Dom, he'd have to be a very low wage to take on a free transfer, but I probably would if he was cheap enough.

 

Luckily we can release the majority of the dross brought in this season. McCarten and Reeves have shown (in small parts), potential to be half decent squad players so I wouldn’t rip up their contracts just yet. Blackburn still had championship players so adding Dack made sense. If we’d have brought him here, with the calibre if players in our side we’d probably still be in league 1 next season, with a player on a reputed £11k a week.

 

And that's the difference. We could buy players for £750k but won't (and rightly so) pay £11k a week in wages.
