Can't think of a time when I've enjoyed watching us win less. That was awful, start to finish. The players looked poor, the coaching looked poor, the system didn't look right. In the context of what we need to be planning for next season, I'm starting to worry. And increasingly, I'm questioning whether T&S are the right choice.

Sorry but Donaldson is still rubbish, along with Clarke and Evans. McCalls starters were piss poor then and they still are now.

Any more of these feeble performances and this opportunity to reach the playoffs will slip away well before the final game.

 

Nobody can say that was a good performance today but with other teams cracking that’s three wins and a draw from the+last 4 matches
So we are in with a good chance

 

To be fair on Andy he's at a loss why we didn't go forward with more intent, poor performance against 10 men second half, BUT you can only get 3 points from the game, we must learn Christ we had a very experienced 11 out there we should have enough savvy to keep the ball and make Grimsby work not the other way round.

 

Terrible performance and not for the first time I'm having flashbacks to performances under Bowyer when we were scraping wins without really deserving it.

Formation didn't work, Evans and Clarke in the centre of the park is a no. Both are fortunate to even be getting any game time.

A constant inability to take the game to our opponents is a real worry for me.

Just goes to show how poor Division Two is this season.
Look at the table it tells everything you need to know.
The quality is absolutely terrible week in week out no doubt about it and we are contributing to it.
An atmosphere created by a crowd is sadly missed.

Subs were poor and made us weaker and gave them encouragement, How Evans was left on for 90 mins is a puzzle, It was almost walking football at times from City,

Come on people, we ground out a result, probably got a bit lucky but who cares!! We go again Tuesday, I said on an earlier post the next three matches were must wins, well that’s one down two to go. we can’t play like the Northern Barcelona every game!!
