    I'm waiting for fresh supplies to arrive this week so, with the exception of a couple of beers, all I've got in stock at the moment is St Austell Proper Job. So it's:
    1st half: St Austell (Cornwall) Proper Job IPA 5.5%
    2nd half: St Austell (Cornwall) Proper Job IPA 5.5%
    On the bench: WooHa (Kinloss, near Elgin) Hop Pinata IPA 6.2%
    Trinity (Lichfield) Slice Of Fried Gold IPA 6.5%​

    First half: Worthington, White Shield 5.6%

    Summer Lightening used to be one of my favourite cask beers back in the day. Decent brewery. Their Entire Stout is a good drop.

    Two Badgers, the Blandford Fly is a gingery one that I quite like in moderation. Twice tangled is a new one for me so we'll see how that goes.

    IPA Day! :sun:

    I am cooking a slow Beef in Beer for tea tonight so will use half the Proper Job for that and the other half for the Drinking Chef, slurp!

    First half, North Yorkshire: NYPA 4.6%
    Second half, Worthington: White Shield 5.6%

    A bottle of Saint Emilion for the evening.

    My latest beer delivery arrived last night, but as one or two of them will be for our monthly 'meet the brewer' night and I'm waiting to hear which brewery we'll be linking up with, I'll leave them for later.

    So, for today, I'm just down to the St Austell Proper Job IPA, probably the best bottle conditioned ale readlily available.

    I had an excellent evening with Roger Ryman (RIP) and Rick Stein down in Padstow years ago. Lovely chap was Roger - loved his (proper) job. St Austells were launching their Clouded Yellow, which was a Belgian style wheat beer. Not sure if its produced anymore, but it was a good drop.

    Game paid for, dog walked, EarPods at the ready, curtains shut so I can see the screen and 4 large Stellas coming to a reasonable drinking temperature.( Yes I know but beggars can’t be choosers) What’s not to like?
