We started off in 11th. Still in 11th.

Carlisle 1 point behind us with a game in hand.

 

Thank god that's over, truly painful 90 minutes of football from both sides. Even the comentators had given up by the end.

Twice Bots the second swerve was a great chance to smack it with 30 secs to go He is lacking in confidence I think

April Fools was 4 days ago fella.

 

It was like 99% of games at this level no worse no better

 

Well we better get out of this league sooner than later before our fan base goe’s back to 4 to 5 thousand.

 

Points a point but I have my reservations regarding a play off spot after that.
It wasn't great on the eye but stranger things have happened.
Better to be in the top half of the table,keeps it interesting.

 

May as well have a cardboard cut out sometimes...

 

Shite game, fair result. Another performance that shows we still need a busy summer.

 

It showed the piss poor standard of league 2 football. Maybe my expectations of professional sportsmen are too high.

 

If Sparks talk of not accepting mediocrity are true, we still need a fair overhaul. Keeper, 2 full backs, midfielder winger, striker, all needed.

 

Terrible game, no quality or understanding in the final third. Everything we do going forwards is at a snails pace which is so frustrating.

 

Team was wrong today. I know its hard to change a winning team but the lack of pace mixed with the laborious passing in midfield made us utterly ineffective.

Then the subs went way the other way with lots of pace but everyone playing everywhere and no one knowing who was where.

A mixture of the two from the start would probably have seen us win. In the end it was a pretty even game that neither team deserved to win really.

 

The pass completion was embarrassing for professional players on what was an excellent surface in decent enough weather. We so badly miss Cooke for his ball retention. I still can't believe how both teams couldn't even master simple basics like passing.

 

They were one of the best performing teams in the league recently, so taking a point from a difficult away game was a positive for me of course I would have preferred all 3 but I don't expect your good self to agree, 6 points from Grimsby and Crawley we'll still be around the play off spot.

 

Stevenage have been going great guns I think they have conceded 3 goals in the last 11 matches. They stopped the high press second half and looked like they settled for a point if we had the management team and the players we have now from the start of the season we would be well in there challenging for automatic promotion as it is it was always going to be difficult to claw back the points but we still have a good chance of doing that with some winnable matches coming up and if we fall short we have the basis of the team to do it next season
