Absolutely agree, I think I've watched every game since T&S took over and actually can't imagine missing one, even the away games for a tenner.

It's been a great bit of routine and excitement and opportunity for analysis in a pretty bleak period.

Next season I'm hoping to attend all the home games, but I really hope they sort it so I can watch any away games I can't get to on iFollow, because I will if the opportunity is there.

Yes, I'm quite taken by ifollow myself now and with my work commitments, I'll be only able to watch a limited amount of away games but for those I can see, they'll be on my TV!

    Yes I'll explain.

First of all, I never said they were 'out'. I said that if our 'tactic' was to ensure they don't get more than a point in order to take them out of the play-off picture then it's a poor do, and a crap approach.

As to their (excellent) current form, the odds of them maintaining it for the rest of the run-in are slim - such runs don't go on for ever (remember our great run when T&S took over?).

And I stand by my point that there are much greater threats than Stevenage to what is looking like possibly only one vacant play-off place being chased by quite a handful of clubs.
Yeah that was my main point in reply to the original poster - aiming to restrict them to 1 point would be a numpty approach (unless perhaps there had only been the two of us in the race).

Another factor in Stevenage's potential inability to make the playoffs is that they've played 2 more games.....

You do realise a defeat is also a result? I certainly wouldn't be taking that option ;-)

Debate is in the Fans Forum. Cost of a new stadium likely to be at least £40 million! https://bantamtalk.com/index.php?threads/fans-forum.4863/

As this is the thread for Stevenage away ( I think) it is interesting that on the Official website for the club, there is mention of the five players still out injured - Novak, Staunton, Pritchard, Cooke and Ismael

But no mention of Hosannah ( even on Easter Sunday)

    :OO: :OO:

Hosannha ( in the highest ) has returned to Elland road for treatment , City did say they were keeping tabs on him with a view to next season .

Back on topic. A win tomorrow really makes it game on. Draw not a disaster. Interested to see if we can gather further momentum again. Team that started against FGR did really well - I don't expect many changes.

We have played Stevenage 7 times to date (2 League One, 5 League Two).

City have 4 wins, with 1 draw and 2 wins for Stevenage.

City have two 1-0 wins; the other 5 matches saw both teams score.

The very first goal, in the very first match between the two teams, was scored by Gareth Evans, in City's 1-0 home win on 14 August 2010.

The last 3 goals City have scored against Stevenage were all scored by Lee Novak.

Oh, and tomorrow's referee, Carl Boyeson, refereed the last match at Valley Parade to be played in front of a crowd.

Let's hope Cook is as unplayable tomorrow as he was on Friday.

What makes you say that? Just the proximity of the two games?

Yes, mate and we have game on Saturday.

Also, Rowe doesn't look happy when he scores. Picture what he's like when he isn't starting.

Why is everyone so concerned about him not smiling? He hasn’t smiled from day 1 and hasn’t thrown his toys out of the pram. Let him get on with it. Maybe it’s just the way he is.

As long as hes scoring I couldn't care less if he does handstands in the changing room.
