So many names mentioned Jonny I even had a chap tell me it was going to be Mark Lillis ex Huddersfield.
He's out in India I believe working alongside John Gregory ex Villa.
The only thing with any credence must be an imminent appointment early next week according to a news report in our local paper.

 

There have been that many favourites on the betting, it's got to the point where the betting odds don't really tell us anything anymore on this market.

 

Spot on the bookie's have had a field day,some crazy market moves.

 

Sky bet must be rubbing there hands every week I’ve put nearly 100 on different applicants hopefully Monday we will know

The bookies will be loving the secrecy and the rumour mill, it probably won't be a big deal financially, but every little helps.

People put way, way, way too much faith in what the bookies 'know' - like has been said, we must have had double figures favourites by now, and at least two or three backed into silly odds on positions.

Now more than ever we are likely to appoint someone as famous as Kai Brunker or Thomas Isherwood, so why anyone is wasting their money I've no idea.

"But the odds say" is not an argument - you're throwing money in the furnace.

Just had an interesting conversation with my Donny mate (an ex work colleague).
Apparently McCall and Hasselbaink are the leading contenders for the Donny job - But the Board are impressed with McCalls Man Management skills.

Get this ! Ferguson, although not impressed by our Budget, likes the ideas of Edins 'progression', and has been assured he will be given 'time'.
So perhaps it's not just City fans who are lumping money on Ferguson at the bookies ?
