Agree - AOC needs to deal with it, but OD should own it for me. He’s a great shot stopper but scares me elsewhere. As for AOC in general, unfortunately I agree.

For CM, if this run of games has taught us anything we need much more in there to prevent us relying on the same players week in week out.

We’ve gone 4 games in a row with no reaction following performances. Need a huge performance on this form right now

 

An easy 2 - 0 win for a very average team, not a happy Bantam............................

 

Let’s not forget that OD has actually made three decent saves. Scunny could have scored more than two. At the end of the day, they’ve just been more clinical all over the field. Back four solid, midfield mopped up, forwards been direct. Everything we haven’t been.

Hmmmm... The recent games are a worry. Simple elements of the game poorly executed and lacking in the effort department.

 

O’Donnell doesn’t command in the penalty area and should not be captain, we need to shake things up.

 

Really poor that. Like Carlisle, we’ve lost against a very very mediocre side and at times looked weak against Scunny coming forward.

We look like we have completely run out of steam and ideas vs where we were a few weeks ago. Perhaps a few players suffering from fatigue and maybe even getting caught up in the success of the form and struggling to dig in at the moment.

1 up front with our skills doesn’t work
O’Donnell see ya (he did make two good saves however)
When attacking the ball we are rash and give a fouls away every time
Verham,, shot aside, crap
Crankshaft crap but two reasonable crosses in the last 10
It’s a case of same old, same old and we have been found out by teams who put 5 across the middle which means we don’t get the ball and leaves the 1 isolated. As a result it’s aimless long misdirected punts.

That was unbelievably poor I like watt but he stank tonight and hasn't been good for a while now. No composure kick it forward as quick as possible and get ready to defend again. What's happened to the team that could knock it around and put pressure on the oppo very very poor and thoroughly frustrating to watch.

 

I think Rowe did well in the middle and upped the tempo. Not good enough from Watt and the whole back four to be honest. Scales didn't get into the match but he's young and I'm not going to knock him.

 

Laughable comment. Did you miss the three top saves he made to make sure we didn't concede 5 tonight?

 

Every game feels the same at the minute, a lottery of back-and-forth breaks with a few scrappy chances thrown in and the occasional bit of quality (their first goal was a good 'un, our free kick was good, Vernam's effort was good).

Anyway, I really can't get too upset or emotional, job's done this season, we avoided catastrophe and the weirdest season in history is petering out on us whether we like it or not.

Everything has to be focussed now on next season.

Think we are safe now. Hope the summer recruitment includes 2 midfield general types. Boy do we need them.
