Not bad, but still a bit lurid. I’ve got this Perry jumper which matches our colours very nicely. DA9F15CB-AD59-4D90-91DE-64A4D7BEBDC2.jpeg

I’ve just bought a few things from here. Identical to City gear but without the club crest at a fraction of the price (ever the Yorkshireman):

That's a photo of my jumper on my bed :) Can't remember where I got this from. As you can see by the bobbles, it's pretty old. Might come back into fashion soon!

There is only one “Airware” sole and boot and that’s Solvair. The original doc Martin before they parted company. Docs now mainly made in China.
I got a pair last year, at my age.!

Not my style, but I like quality footwear!

Here you go with the link, plus the ‘conversion’ pair of bootlaces!

I was in a shoe shop in Brid a while ago that sold Dr Martens but was going back to Solvair once his stock had run down sufficiently. He showed me a pair of the Solvairs and tbh I wasn't at all impressed with either the look or feel of them. They looked cheap and plasticky ( if that's even a word?).
Needless to say we bought the Docs.

Good lord, I remember getting used Doc's from the old Sally Army down Leeds road years ago. 250 quid? How times change.

Yep those are mine. No I’m not on a 1970 throwback of City fans at the back of Chesterfield shed!

ps They were silver in those days!!!

They are comfy dog walking boots nowadays

    Just add these!

The opposite applies 65. Solvair have better soles, better quality leather and get this , manufactured on the original pre 1980 DR Martens machinery in the original factory, because Solvair actually made ALL the original DM’s As I said , currently branded DM’s are mostly made in China.

These are wrong on many counts. I let my City gazelles go to a City fan in York at a bargain price. They were mint, he’ll tell you if he’s still around the forum. A sudden illness meant I needed bigger shoes!!

Oddly US it wasn’t, but the result was very very similar. 30 years on your feet in engineering didn’t help!!
