Robinson, Taylor & Guy sure fair enough. Lund was bang average and McGowan hasn't even played. You can try twist it how you want.. but you've listed about 5 players there out of the 15 or so we've signed under rahic who've been naff haha

For most of the time they have been here they have done well. A couple of bad months doesn’t make them bad players

 

As I say, it’s double standards.

If I see a player twice a season (playing against us) and post a comment that I don’t rate him, I’m called negative and told to wait until he’s played a few times in a City shirt before writing him off.

But others can form a positive opinion on a player they have never seen, with no questions asked.

And if I question that positive view (eg Wonderful signing), I’m called negative again for daring to question someone blindly being positive.

I thought Taylor was overall very average, people just got excited because he was so direct. Dean Windlass he was not!

Killa and NKP were awful all last season, both in terms of performance and statistics.

Kilgallon POTY tells me I need to forget last season ASAP. Christ what a joke.

 

Not twisting it anyway, just saying they weren't bad signings. Let's be honest regardless who's in charge your going to get naff signings - always have done always will. BTW I'm not disagreeing that some of the signings have been woeful.

 

NKP has been good for most of his time here with a short bad patch/ odd games where he switches off, but I think Vince's legs went around January 2017 and he's not been the same since.

 

I don't think negativity helps anyone. After all, we are 'supporters' are we not?

I never get carried away at a signing but when it is all said and done, Greg Abbott has forgotten more than we know about Football so I will get behind the signings and put my trust in him.

Just as bizarre as thinking someone is a good signing, with nothing to base that opinion on except the T&A article that announced it.

 

I agree with that. But positivity is a good trait so I will not sneer at it, negativity isn't. Like I said earlier in the week, negativity is not good for the mind.

But that works both ways.

If he hasn’t kicked a ball (for ANY team) yet, we can be positive about him. But if he has kicked a ball (admittedly for ANOTHER team), we can’t raise concerns?

 

Concerns can be raised. But some posters sh*t on every single signing and purposely looking for fault though.

I guess folk are just sick of the cry babies creating a toxic atmosphere around the club/within the supporter base.

if we get relegated/play poorly it's because people like me posted negatively on the unofficial fan forum. There is literally no other possible reason.

I will re evaluate my entire beliefs based on this realisation.

 

It's not, here's an example of how it works; we sign Dom poleon, the lads done nothing previously, he continues to do nothing all of last season. You're on your own if you think you can't second guess how a players going to get on based on what they've done previously.
