Ok, I am intrigued and echo HornseaBantam's question, who is going to buy out Rupp tomorrow? Zillionaire Middle East Oil Baron, an ex-KJB cum Russian oligarch, a consortium of fired up Bradford Business owners, a choice of two or three ex- Lancashire football club owners, us supporters, or my Mum?

 

Whenever I've seen him on telly I've always thought he could have learning difficulties. Seems he hasn't and he's learned from his mistake.s

I know it was done with the best intentions and I’m not trying to have a go, but for me it could be left unsaid. All it will do is create division when there is a new positivity around the club. Things are best left unsaid until we get a real achievement. Imo.

 

Yes this was the case, but odds have now changed unfortunately. Mum tried to withdraw the asking price cash from the bank today, but was detained under the mental capacity act.

Let's be honest Rupp was taken for a ride by Rahic who was clearly on a mission to buy a football club, remember we weren't the first club Rahic looked at and a deal for Blackpool was on until even dodgy Oyston refused to sell.

I ain't saying Rupp isn't partly to blame to what we had to endure because he should have done his own homework before allowing Rahic free reign however he has stuck with the club and IMO is trying to right the wrongs. Do I hope he sells yes but only if its to someone with the right interests we don't want another owner like Rahic involved. Sometimes its better the devil you know.

 

The Administrator at the time of Glasgow Rangers also showed Rahic the door before he moved on Owen Oysten.

The club has started to fill the key positions at the club with forward thinking personnel, investment has been made to the playing side and were progressing on the pitch. Why would anyone want the upheaval and uncertainty a new owner would bring? The old saying "don't bite your nose off to spite your face" springs to mind. As we stand we're one of the better run clubs so let's leave it like that.

 

So why was Bradford City taken in?

I remember Mark and Julian saying they’d only sell to the right people many times, but obviously money came first. I don’t necessarily blame them we’d all love a nice profit on a predominantly loss making business. Sucks for the fans like when this happens.

 

So if Rupp sells out to the first shyster that comes along with a bag of borrowed money you will be happy?
