ROD was in goal for the first 4 games T&S were in charge.

I never said he had excellent distribution. I said it's better than O'Donnell's. Admittedly, that's a very low bar.
I do think, however, that Hornby puts fewer kicks into touch and is more accurate with his kicks down the middle. He found Rowe with several kicks towards the end of Tuesday's game. He also rolls the ball out to our defenders more often and more quickly than RO'D.

Apologies Offy, the past wasn't solely aimed at yourself, it's just I've seen similar things posted from a number of posters yet I honestly haven't witnessed it myself yet.

For me, in myth terms, it's right up there with the keeper we had that could only dive to his right.

Could this game see our best 'away' support so far this season?

Exeter looked very shaky in defence. Irrespective of the pitch, or them scoring three, if Rowe had played we would have won that match.

I cant see any scenario that would require 53 points to stay up. Mid 40's absolute maximum so another 4 wins and we are safe I reckon. That said, I also can't see us finishing outside of the top ten, so we don't need to worry.

The positivism is obviously spreading - the good one liners on here have improved by the week.

Big test for us tomorrow with the form Cheltenham are in, get a win and the play offs are definitely on! IMO

It's a free hit really after all the good results recently. We have nothing to fear. Let's give it a shot!

Them on the other hand will look at our recent form and see the match as a real test and a concern that a draw or a loss will see them dropping places.

Let's start well and quickly and get them worried.

This'll be a counter attacking game plan for us, which is why Rowe has to start for me not Cook. He makes things happen. Cook, in the past, has been great getting on the end of things, but Rowe is exactly what you want up front against Cheltenham. Hard to mark, difficult to know what he's going to do next and creates things for himself.

Would defo take a point from this one. Thought they would take automatic pre season and haven't changed my mind.

Should be a good game with both teams playing well. I think we will edge it with our more measured build up play with a 2-1 win. Onwards and upwards.

Could be the time for him to smash in one of his trademark long range specials. If the pitch is going to stop us playing slick one twos around the box he should be told to shoot on sight. I'm sure he won't need a second invitation.

They've been a good side all season. So we do need to try a few different things against them. Rowe and Vernam give us that little bit of extra - and Callum, Watt and Sutton when they're on their day. I'd happily take an away point from this but a win is not out of the question.

Tomorrow will be a good measure of where we are at. Get something from the game and who knows what could happen this season.
after all Last 10 games=21 points.
A repeat in the next 10?

    Not sure about that.

I think with some of the performances we've had since T&S took over, we've shown we could potentially beat a side like Cheltenham. I don't think there's anyone in the division we definitely wouldn't beat, to be honest.

But that statement doesn't mean we're going to maintain the current form and continue getting results in the games we feel we probably should be getting results from.

At the minute, though, I'd fancy the likes of Rowe and Vernam to give any side legitimate problems. Lose those two, let's say, and we'll lose our edge. But it's nice that the question is no longer 'can we', but 'will we'. We now know that this team can beat most anybody in the division, which we definitely didn't under Stuart.

With those long throws from all over we are going to be under a lot of pressure in this match how we deal with that will determine the result . I thought we played well in the home match against them and we were a bit unlucky to lose and we are a lot better team now
