Have we had a covid outbreak ?

 

Well I’ve paid a tenner for this one. Funny what a fairly half decent run of form does to you. Paid for it before I saw the team but it does look like we are going to hit these on the break. Looking forward to see Vernam.

To say it’s an interesting team selection might be an understatement, if the pitch is up to it hopefully the pace of movement and passing up front will cause them problems. Vernam up top is also interesting, thought they might have gone with the don to try and get the ball to stick. If I understand correctly Vernam primarily plays as an inverted left winger, are we going to turn him into the new Thierry Henry cutting in up front from the left. Pretty sure the Exeter management weren’t expecting this...

 

Surely if we had three players down the match would be off

 

Maybe 'cos we have 3 crocked forwards.. ?

In his interview he said he has played striker role

 

Would be delighted with a point today, with our strikers injured there’s nobody to hold the ball upfront and bring others into the game. Hopefully not long term injuries.

Good chance for Jordan to show what he can do. Only had 10/15 minutes here and there but now he starts. Needs to show up well because it feels like he'll be behind Vernam and Crankshaw in the pecking order.

 

I think it would have been made public if it was Covid related. The club have managed that side of things so well that if there were any potential infections, they would have sought advice about whether they should travel to Exeter or not, and would have issued a statement to confirm the green light had been given.

 

Got Radio Leeds on BBC Sounds prior to the match. Will switch to ifollow closer to 1pm.

 

Hmmm little bit worried about how we'll get on with that lineup. 3 newbies + nearly newby in Stephens is a lot of changes to absorb. Clean sheet please, back 4 + Sutton and Watt need to be really on it.

 

Think the Club are better than the Kremlin for keeping injuries close to their chests, keep the opposition guessing.

 

We knew about Clarke earlier in the week but Rowe, Cook and Evan's are a little worrying, especially Evan's as he's only just returned after a few weeks out.

 

Agree mate, when you look at our bench there is a certain "striker" called Donaldson, if they wanted someone to hold the ball up,target-man etc then he would know what to do.
A few off-sides like.
