Trueman and Sellars - permanent deal

I would give them that contract. They've changed things totally around and seem to be working in a likeminded manner with Sparks. I wouldn't chance an old skool manager who's been around the block too many times anymore , they both know the club and have got fresh ideas that has got the team gelling.

 

Why change it?

If I were Barnsley or some team with a Dev squad, I'd seriously consider approaching T and S.

Sparks is choosing to snooze on them, so why not?

Definitely time to appoint them permanently in my opinion.

The only reason I can think they haven't been appointed full time is that Sparks has somebody lined up to take over in the summer, and perhaps Trueman and Sellars are already aware of this?

 

Didnt City speak to Morecombe's gaffer Adams, but they are looking at a top 7 finish so he doesn't want to leave yet.

Could be our luck if the dynamic duo keep going and who wants the negative Adams anyway?

Cobblers. Sparks was totally committed to the T& S team. They're his baby. It's a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation. I have every confidence the correct decision will be made imminently.

Don't fix what isnt broken. T & S sound comfortable with what's what at present just leave it for now.

I am wary of how a joint manager arrangement will work longer term, it's ok with transfers as there are a number of people involved in that, and with things going well on the pitch all seems rosy.

However, what happens when there is the inevitable downturn in form? How will it work in reality if they have different ideas about team selection, or even a substitution at a key moment in a game, who gets the final say?

 

I would assume Trueman would be made manager and Sellars his assistant .
