absolutely, really looking forward to seeing what he does for us

 

We've done ok. Better side for 30 mins, then they've grown into it. Half time probably come at the right time amd a great save by Hornby just before the whistle.

Main gripe - we're trying to be too intricate in the final third. These conditions, sub keeper on, we should be pulling the trigger more readily.

 

Need to test the sub keeper more. Working it around the box nicely, but need shots on goal.

 

Little bit lucky that Mullin didn't take his chances. Not much in it, but Cambridge look the more likely.

We need to get a shot or two on goal.

Good first half showing.

 

We are looking good, we need to inject some pace and creativity though. Evans off for Stevens is needed in my opinion.

 

Be interesting to see if our lack of game time impacts against or for us, as the game wears on, on this tacky pitch.

 

Like to see more from Clarke and Evans....

Decent enough half. Rowe looks promising but looks like he needs pace either side of him to link up with. Would be bringing on Stevens for Evans or Clarke soon.

 

He's been disappointing again for me has Evans. Not sure what he is bringing to the table at the moment.

 

At least we have options. Burrell and Stevens must be in T&S thinking, especially on a pitch like this.

 

Evans has been a bit anonymous particularly for me, they've all put a shift in though so far

 

Playing well so far for me. Cambridge had the best chance at the end and should have taken it. Some nice passing and moving from our 3 cms. Sutton looking to drive forward. I'd like to see Evans and Clarke more involved. Rowe shown some glimpses but personally would prefer him to stop drifting and lead the line more. Hopefully novak injury not too bad as I can see them linking well together.

Evans is doing a good job, especially when Camebridge have got the ball.
They were top of the league at the start, guy in midfield pulling the strings who was playing Premier League not long ago and a guy up front with 20? goals already and we haven't played for nearly a month. We're doing okay mate.

 

I get that were trying to do to make an opening for an easier chance around the box but as you say give it a crack and put pressure on their keeper.
