I think people need to keep in mind that we are in the speculation business when it comes to these young players.

More often than not, nowt will ever come of them, but the system is there to find those few that do.

Aye, I've no problem with us taking a punt on a player or two like this. Just hope we can still get enough players with some pegidree to push us on (where the pedigree ones turn out OK or are rubbish we can't guess!)

He's tall and we've often said we need more height. Hopefully he's not afraid of putting in a physical stint like Kai. If he's tall and has good presence then he's worth a punt.

How anyone can say he’s poor or quality is ridiculous. looking at the facts and reports we have it looks like he has potential however if this is the level of all our signings we’ll be in trouble.. I don’t think it will be however I’d rather have a backup who’s our own with potential then getting another loan player ala Thompson

 

Until we see him play nobody has any idea how well he will do. I did think we needed a young player for that Position as we have McGowan NKP and Kilgallon and possibly Vincelot a left back now and keeper two if Doyle goes and that’s our defence
