I'm thinking Staunton could play as part of the 2 in midfield.

 

Looking at his career it looks like he was good at Doncaster but poor at the Posh

 

We haven't even signed him yet but if we do I'll trust the judgement of Trueman and Sellars.

 

Leeds have called for a replay against Crawley Town in the FA Cup because one of the plumbers in midfield isn’t Corgi registered.

 

Some of the comments on here regarding Mason are knack all to do with his football ability, most haven't even seen him play, but more down to he's committed an offence.

 

If your looking for purely his playing ability there were some championship clubs looking at him when he was at Doncaster but his conviction seems to have affected him because from what I have read Peterborough fans don’t rate him at all. But if a guy gets so drunk he can’t control himself there must be a doubt about his character

We just love discussing how we'd welcome players who wreck their careers because it's always worth welcoming people who can't keep their sh1t together.

You don't go from a 21 year old on the verge of Championship football (on merit) to getting farmed out to League Two strugglers unless your performances have nose dived.

Whilst it s good to strengthen I don’t think right back should be a priority I think there are other positions more urgent

There's no bigger area to strengthen than a foil for Novak it's absolutely imperative they get someone in..

 

I agree, but if we can improve any position , Im happy to go along.
Obviouslly our achlies heel is up the top end of the pitch (especially if anything happens to Novak) but that area is notoriously the most difficult to fill ( And expensive).

 

I wonder any striker deal we do may involve Guthrie going the other way

I'd say we just need to look at the team's below us and try to offload him, but there aren't many teams below us and he's already played for one of them.
