Cant knock the performance. Just baffled that Samuels cant get on the pitch. We are crying out for one bit of pace on the counter attacks or through balls.

I think his vocabulary is limited by the speed he has to speak at. He doesn't have enough time to access better adjectives. Like a decent footballer who can somehow create enough space to gain an extra yard from nowhere, a good commentator can do the same to get time so use a range of vocabulary to paint a vivid picture. Derm Tanner was the last good BBC commentator I remember listening to.

Not bad, showed great work ethic, bit light on committing bodies up front but still could have won it

 

I thought we played pretty well. Some nice passing and link up play. Probably the most possession I've seen us have this season. Defenders never looked in any trouble. Problem is, when you've only got Novak upfront on his own, all those passes into the box need to be spot on. Cooke can't finish, and Sutton seems to be afraid to pull the trigger.

Bit harsh. Poor conditions. Freezing cold. I thought we played some pretty good stuff at times. An honourable draw.

 

Is that 3 clean sheets, only 2 conceded in last 5 games? Massive improvement.

Satisfactory point, get a bit of a break now with the Morecambe game called off at the weekend, hopefully that helps rather than costs us momentum.

Had the chances to create the chances to win (written like that intentionally - because we didn't QUITE carve out the opportunities we needed).

Amazing how tight the defence is, just 2 conceded in 5 games, 1 and OG and 1 a deflection...

Boys we would have lost that game two weeks ago. Also we had a new keeper in....we know what we need in Jan .....quality and pace up from........well done the dynamic duo

 

Sutton is turning into a very good signing. Those runs from midfield have been missing for ages

 

he would be saying Englishman a lot if he did! I liked how he got stuck into McCall post match, game commentary just about musters an OK , so suggests football actually ain’t his bag.

 

Dull game, but poor conditions. Another point towards safety glad this years over for so many reasons including the football, let’s hope 2021 is better in every way!

 

Plenty of chances to win the game but we desperately need that second striker to help Novak out in the scoring stakes.
