I bet he was on a decent wedge at Scunny. Their chairman is a clown.
You know what city are like for saving money. Might have been our idea to see if we could wait until January?

You do realise that is exactly how Parkinson and Parkin came together don't you?
They both applied for the job and because Lawn and Rhodes couldn't decide they put them together.
As far as I can remember it was reasonably successful.

Haha, can you imagine if it was Hurst's?

'What an honour to be manager of this great club, it would be a matter of pride to play my part in restoring this sleeping giant of a club to the stature it belongs. There is nothing more important to me than succeeding in this job, failure is not an option...

... But listen, Swanny is still paying me a bit of compo, can I start in four weeks?'

Did Parky have a favoured assistant at the time who he wanted to bring in though? Hurst does and we should allow him that. And Parkin had already made the move from a manager to a coach by the time he came here, whereas Trueman is on his way up and a manager not a number 2.

We need a manager, who should we call?

There's only one name from a list of them all
Who knows the club and how to kick the ball
And that is Stuie, Stuie McCall
He'll take it on .. until his next fall
Just ring Stuie, Stuie, Stuie McCall
And get ready for the club to go to the wall!

    ;)

Couldn't answer either of those questions.
I am not advocating that we should do it, just pointing out that we have form for it previously and it was successful.

When should we get obsessed when they have us undefeated in 6 games and a16 point return for those games ;), it's great that we are feeling a bit of positivity and looking forward to games instead of worrying about the next team up.
Maybe I'm getting carried away but I wouldnt be surprised if they got us 2 home wins from the next 2 games let's enjoy the situation whilst it lasts.

I have to assume the wins will come to an end, that's football, but it's nice to not actually expect to lose to the next opponent, regardless of the opponent!

I'll be continuing to pick against us on the prediction league as a superstition - so far so good!

Because Rhodes hasn't gone. He's still sticking his grubby paws into the quality street tin

A certain team 10 miles down the road were renowned for going a goal up and the opposition knew they had all on to break them down, now I'm not suggesting T&S are setting us up to do that but if they are another 26 wins by the odd goal would make me a very happy Bradford City.

I agree, it’s all about creating chances and under Trueman we are now creating far more than under McCalls so called attacking style. Both Pritchard and Novak missed good chances at Crawley, we missed a stack full against Cambridge, Cooke should have put the game to bed at Grimsby. As you say we have one decent striker so we’re not going to win 5-0 anytime soon. What we have now is the total opposite of McCalls horror show, tight in defence, organised, creating decent chances and more important getting results. To put it in perspective if we win Tuesday night Trueman equals in 5 games what it took McCall to get all season.

Only 7 players are under contract for next season Richard O’Donnell, Paudie O’Connor, Callum Cooke, Gareth Evans, Elliot Watt, Reece Staunton, Levi Sutton. The new manager will need to sign a new team. Is Trueman up to it?

Interestingly, Tranmere had a temporary manager who had them playing attractive football by all accounts and won all 5 games. Appointed an experienced manager in Keith Hill, have only won once since and the football is dull and unadventurous according to some of their fans.

It's a very good question but as far as I'm aware, neither Trueman nor Sellars are experienced in that area. I guess they'll be relying heavily on the new recruitment manager to bring in the types of players they need.
