    Definitely by county, which is why North Yorks is in Tier Two despite cases in Scarborough being high. The restrictions applied to Bradford/ Calderdale & Kirklees were special measures pre tier system and Leeds avoided that. They ended when the tier system was brought in and West Yorks was lumped into one.

    The North Yorkshire area is the council area as it excludes York which is seperate.

    Either way, all of west Yorkshire are in as one so if Leeds come out so do we. Boris has refused to split it down further.

    In fact, it could be Huddersfield that keeps us in tier three. Bradfords current rate is 199.5 up to last week and Huddersfield is still in the 200s

    Just looking at Bradford alone it is still higher than Newcastle was, 115, when they went into Tier 3

    Most of Greater Manchester which had the highest rates in the country is now below 200 (some strange spike in Bury!). Not a snowball in a hot hell that they will drop to tier 3 before the latter part of January at the very earliest.

    Bradford's latest rate is 199.5 so well above the national average. I think you are right, the only changes will be London into Tier 3.

    What did you expect? We're run by sheer bloody imcompetents and a sizeable section of the public are either too thick or too selfish to take on board simple measures like hand washing and the wearing of masks. Even now does anyone really understand what the guidance is for Christmas?

    If I am honest it was poor from club to put them on sale when it was clear we wouldn't be moving tiers.
