Worryingly Campbell has been favourite for a while now

 

I think Flynn's odds have shortened today, but it doesn't take much to be honest in a market such as this.

I still think someone will come from nowhere on the early lists and get the role.

Until I see someone at odds on I will keep an open mind

Yes saw that he was now 2nd favourite with SkyBet. As you say, it's probably just a couple of opportune punters taking a punt, rather than any insider knowledge would definitely be happy if it was him though

A lot of Plymouth fans on their forum seem to think it is time to gi after they have suffered 6 defeats on the bounce. They reckon he is a very good league 2 manager but out of his depth in league 1.

I would still take a punt on him on the basis of his excellent league 2 record

 

Why ? He's managed roughly half a season in the Championship, and been sacked, he's hardly a season CC manager is he ?

 

Alexander would be another Bowyer and none of us want that. I'd be delighted with Flynn or Lowe but I still can't see either of them leaving their current clubs despite what the bookies say.

 

Flynn would be great but his stock is becoming stronger at Newport and honestly can see him stepping higher than us within the next few season whether Newport go up or not.

 

In my previous post I hadn’t mentioned Lowe but could see it being him, northerner who may want to return north and it not going well at his current club. Would all come down to the package we offered him I suppose, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s applied for the role.

 

Are the powers that be confused? Do they think Campbell or Woodgate can still be a player manager?
