    I would be very surprised if bookmakers especially the big ones didn’t have contacts both directly with people at clubs and via journalists (who have their own contacts). Their business after all relies on them paying out less than they take and like a casino ensures things are stacked in their favour as much as is possible without breaking the law I don’t see bookmakers leaving everything fully upto chance if a little bit of knowledge can be used to limit total payouts

    I've just realised how annoying you sacking McCall is. I could right now make a pretty decent stab at the formation and lineup so I could have the graphic ready with just a couple of quick changes. I can't even do that as god know who who be picked and what formation will be used.

    Guess it also makes it hard for you lot to do the prediction league until teams are announced

    I'd be really happy with this as a management appointee. I believe he applied for the vacant Grimsby job, before applying at halifax and subsequently getting the job.

    Thumbs up from me. Has been coaching since he was 18 and pulled Oldham out of the shit when Scholes walked out.

    He also likes to communicate with the Town fans via Halifax FC and the courier. A connection has been a major part of his time at AFC Halifax between the club and fans.
    Certainly an area this club has to improve upon.
