Given the rise in cases down south, and Boris' cautious nature on this, I would be amazed if anywhere changes tier downwards on the 16th now. I reckon the only changes will be London into tier 3

That would be a complete cop out. Newcastle and Gateshead are at a rate of about 100 per 100k, yet London has areas with 400 per 100k and rising.

Yesterday the entire Yorkshire and the Humber had 1,200 positive tests. London had over 4,400 positive tests in one day.

The PDC have been selling sessions of 1,000 tickets for the darts (2 sessions per day) which start next week indoors. Meanwhile in tier 3 areas you are made to feel like a criminal for seeing a family member in their garden.

Many tier 3 areas should be moved to tier 2, and the South East and London should be moved to tier 3 if they aren't already. However we know Boris does what is popular for him so I don't think he has the balls to lockdown London.

I agree, especially as significant increases are forecast as a result of increased mixing over the Christmas period.

If the government wants to demonstrate that areas can go down, then it is likely to be a token one, perhaps Dorset going down to tier 1.

With the effects of the Christmas period to come, I suspect the first likely reduction down to tier 2, for Bradford, will be no earlier than late January, if we are lucky in time for Barrow at home.

A minor detail regarding the upcoming review.

It is my understanding that although the review is scheduled for 16 December, it is not scheduled to be announced until 17 December (although the changes will probably leak out beforehand). Additionally, the changes will not come into force until 19 December.

Think you're right. The overall case load has started to tick upwards again so I'd be massively surprised if any restrictions were loosened, especially when they know that Christmas is likely to cause a jump anyway.

The only possible hope London has got of avoiding tier 3 is that they still apparently have hospital capacity available but based on the cases they're going to have to be tightened up eventually.

The mixing of families over Christmas will be offset by the fact school children won't be sat in classrooms of 30+ for a two week period.

I've got my ticket. But as a 25 yearer and the lifeblood of the club I probably am more important than most.

Let me know if you want me to throw in an extra boo for you all

Doesn't surprise me really very little chance of tier 2 and the standard of football/mood of the fans is undeniable
The club are greatly underestimating our current plight

So negative, no wonder the team are struggling.

London is looking like T3 so. No way Boris cares about the North.

Highly doubt with all eyes on London that many big areas of the north will move down a tier.

Forgive me I've not been keeping up to date on this thread so apologies if it's already been discussed. I have only received my city for all ticket today. Just been to see if I can still secure ticket for next week (obvs tier review depending). It doesn't say sold out but is not showing as available to buy.

Comms on city site and twitter say tickets not avaliable any more but not clear if sold out or not available for other reasons.

Does anyone know what the actual situation is? Frankly not that arsed the way we're playing but if there's still a chance to go I don't wanna miss it.

The window for purchasing tickets was supposed to end at 12 noon today, so that may explain why they've gone off sale.

I've no idea what happens next; I suspect the Club expected them to sell out before noon. Watch that space.

Do you know if they have sold out? Only reason I didn't purchase is because I was waiting for the card. From reading comments on Facebook it looks like I could have purchased match ticket without. Annoyingly that's not what the club communicated!

Why are city so shit at organising things, appreciate it's not a straightforward situation but their communications are so unclear!

I don't know if they sold out or not, but they were still available this morning.
