sparks' first point of business was to give 2 failures in McCall and Black a contract extension when they are doing their level best to take us into non-league.
Way to reward failure.
Good job he didnt want to interview any others isnt it.

 

He should be influencing Rupp that's his job now. I fully expect him to do that and start to make some positive changes around the club. By christ we need it don't we?

We need to bring in a Head of Recruitment to identify and sign players and specialist coaches for defence, midfield and attack. These must be supported by a Head Coach to pick the team and choose the tactics. After about fifteen years of that structure I think it might be fair to judge Stuart as a manager, maybe.

Hope they get someone in quick we need to get a body threw the door to take over from McCall when he finally Decides to leave

 

When are we gonna see these positive changes? Because all i've seen today is people jacking off when nothing has changed. Or are todays proceedings somehow gonna turn our season around? And if so how exactly?

 

I just don’t know what to say.

I expect to see a raft of new appointments in the coming days and weeks. He’s had months to see what we need and I expect him to address them. Like many others I’m staggered he’s extended the contracts of McCall and Black. What has he seen that warrants rewarding the mishmash performances and budget wasting signings? McCall now has someone who’s probably in awe of him and can manipulate just the way he wants it...

 

New CEO Sparks, is he the one who has given Stuart the contract extension ? If so it’s a rookie mistake that’s risking financial compensation if we have to sack him. That’s not good business management.

 

A good interview on Radio Leeds just after 6PM with Ryan Sparks conducted by Jamie Raynor. Some good probing, and to be fair, Sparks comes across very well, as you would expect given his previous role.

Good luck to him I say. Certainly not going to go all suicidal and pledge never to watch City again as some fans have done on social media.

 

I'm formally applying for the position of Head of Recruitment.

I have a list of all former players, and will be recommending them in all in alphabetical order.

Once the list is exhausted, I shall start back from the top.

So when do I start?

I expect to be CEO within 6 months

 

I think 3 months in the role would be more than enough, however that demonstration of a lack of ambition makes you perfect for the role.

Listened to him on Radio Leeds. Plenty of the usual stuff about improving recruitment and being ready for January. But we've heard it all before, so I won't hold my breath.

All talk, hopefully it's not a case of no trousers.

 

Like you I cannot see into the future so I have no idea exactly how todays proceedings will affect the season but I would expect a DoF and fitness coach for starters and like in ASAP. Even a defence coach wouldn't go amiss.

I would like to hear the plans for this season going forwards and further ahead of that.
