    Don’t think we advertised for our MD but hired an agent to find one for us. That costs though and costs a fair bit.

    Tbh I wouldnt expect us to advertise such a role openly. Instructing a specialist head hunting firm is 100% the way to go.

    We cant even scout for a half decent centre forward, never mind a CEO.

    Indeed. Because such a firm, skilled in what they do, would look beyond just the football industry. If you're a skilled CEO/COO, much of your skillset is transferable across different industries.

    Anyone showing drive, ambition, and mindset to push the club forward would lose Mr Rhodes in the first sentence surely Mr Rupp will already employ someone who has the expertise to select the right applicant
