Moaned again about not being able to drag Jordy et al here. Was pressed about looking at free agents, and churned out the same "we're always keeping our eyes open" line again.

 

I don't know what to say about that interview.

He was, but he must be getting desperate now, the only forward who remotely looks like scoring is now out for a few weeks now. He said that had a few conversations with Hiwula in the summer, but defensively said that he cannot drag targets here to play for us.

 

You forgot his opening comment with regard the joke goal, give a team like Bolton a goal start and you are bound to struggle, we showed what we could do second half only one team in it but we have to put our chances away and none better than the pen, the way we played that goes in there only one winner.

 

Good point. He does remind me a lot of that bottle job we had called "Juanjo".

I agree with you but unless it’s a clean sweep from top to bottom it’ll be a useless exercise. Same players different manager, rinse and repeat. Only this time the new guy won’t find us 6th top in league 1, but 6th bottom in league 2 with no points buffer to work with.

 

Maybe he meant top half of the bottom half.

I love the bloke. I can’t think of anyone else I’d rather have success with. But I also can’t think of anyone else I’d less like to see at the helm with everything going tits up.
