Harrogate Match Re-scheduled Twice [now Monday 12 Oct '20]

Blimey. I had no idea that was even possible. I'm on fast Virgin cable too. I've never gone near any settings. Not that I've needed to so far, but where do you access those settings? On the Virgin website or is it an iFollow adjustment?

 

You just press the settings icon on the bottom right of the ifollow screen. Two things pop up. Audio for choice of home or away commentary and quality where you can adjust the settings.
With our Virgin broadband I don't think I should have to make such an adjustment for ifollow but I do to make it watchable. No problems thereafter.

 

Thanks for the advice, our virgin t'internet is supposed to be the dogs so I'll have to get my daughter to have a look.
I am useless with it.

 

See my post above. You need to go into the settings icon bottom right of the ifollow screen, select quality and change from Auto to 540/1100, then it works. No need to alter anything with your broadband.

Harrogate "Tea Rooms firm" on the way be careful you don't get ambushed with OAP throwing tea pot warmers and rock cakes at you on midland road.

 

This is the one game I really don't want to lose .
Being harrogate born and bread but brought up a city fan from birth I never thought I'd see the day when we played in a league match .
I know this is one of the fixtures town fans have being looking forward to the most and as I coach a local junior football team where there's a fair few town fans who are mates I couldn't take a loss .

We shouldn't be anywhere near having to play a league match against Harrogate Town. The fact we are shows just how far we have fallen.

 

Must be a strange feeling for you being born there. I can imagine how I would feel if we were playing Thackley or Eccleshill in a league match!.

Always liked the towns of Harrogate and Knaresborough and always kept an eye out for both Harrogate club's fortunes, and yes, its feels surreal that we are playing at the same level, and probably not a lot in us either.

I believe Harrogate are quite a physical team, so expecting a tough game on Monday, although an empty stadium, I am sure their players will be well up for this one.

 

It also shows you how far they've risen.
I can remember watching them play from a fence round the pitch when they had a porta cabin as changing rooms .
No seats or stands .
We used to play our junior league and school cup finals at their ground, it was a right bog our school pitches and changing rooms were better

They do have a decent side and play some good stuff .
Just hope we beat them .
I went to the pub at hgate town ground to watch them in the playoff final as alot of my mates are town fans after the game we were on the pitch and they were all in a circle with me in the middle singing bradford city we're coming for you .

 

That's great and what football is all about win, lose but have a bit of banter after.

I hope Stuart has noticed that almost everything they do goes through Falkingham. Sticking a man on him would be a good idea.

 

Thought I best just mention on here but the club have sent round an email on Sunday / Monday to season ticket holders explaining that if your email address with the club doesn't match the email address you use for ifollow then you need to email them and let them know what your ifollow email address is by today or you won't be able to access it.

The problem is though in the correspondence it asks you to "reply to this email" to update your details.

Unfortunately if you do this, the email will send but you'll get a bounce back 48hrs later saying it hasn't been sent. The email they've used to senx out the correspondence apparently doesn't exist OR doesn't accept replies. So what you actually need to do is not follow the guidance they've given in the correspondence and instead send compose a new email to ifollow@bradfordcityfc.co.uk

I imagine there will be a number of people who have followed the instructions they've given, thinking they've updated the club and they won't get a bounce back till tomorrow.

Its been raised with the club via twitter and suggested that they send round an update... As not every season ticket holder is going to be on twitter.

Thats like all championshio clubs saying look how far we have fallen when they are playing Wycombe.

Give Harrogate the credit they deserve.
