Most on here are creaming their pants over Guys two game performances for us. He is playing at this level but can make it into the Derby squad.

However, if a team signs dosh then that's what you get. If a team signs good PL, Championship players then you stand a chance that they should be better than most in the league.

Our recruitment of players and strategy has mainly been rubbish and Chicksen is rubbish.

 

TBF he was playing in an alien position in an unusual formation. No surprise hecwas ripped a new one. He wasn’t the only one

 

I know where you’re coming from. Defensively he was awesome and never gave their left winger a chance to put crosses in. Made some telling interceptions. But his clearances were awful. Many a time he swung a boot and the bell went out of play or stayed in, but put pressure on Robinson

For the last 7 years all you've said is how rubbish we are, I think you need to get another hobby.

 

And how the chuff do you expect League1 clubs to sign “good PL or Championship players”? If they are “good”, their clubs will want to keep them and the players themselves will want to play as high a level as possible.

Warnock needs persuading to change his mind. He's got another year left in him and last night he was as solid as any left back since Jacques. As for Guy, I wish we could afford him - played in his correct position (not RB Stuart) he makes Lee Evans look poor. Buy him, build a team around him.

 

Portsmouth might be in the Championship next season; they're all right.

Millwall got promoted last season, and could go up again. In reality, they were all right.

In a division where anyone can beat anyone, the levels of ability and extremely compact - unlike in the Premier League, where the best teams possess incredible talent compared to the teams at the bottom.

I'd like you to point out five good, PL, Championship players at other clubs - try to look at clubs in a similar position as us, ie, avoid Wigan and Blackburn who had pre-existing PL, Championship players and didn't have to sign them like we will have to.

I await this 'insight' into those players so much better than 'all right'.

Look at this way Fordy. The fact that Guy picks up motm awards regularly shows how poor the rest of midfielders are. I'm guessing the lad wants to be part of the Derby first team squad but if they want him out on loan next season then we should snap their hands off. What we need to do is decide who gets to stay to compete for a midfield place. Lets not kid ourselves, after two battling performances at home, that squad needs some quality adding to it in the summer.

 

He wants better and anyone who does not go along with his standards is either easily please or not a true Bradford City fan.

I agree... however even in some of our greatest seasons in the last few years this guys moaned about how crap we are.. it’s tiresome and attention seeking of the highest order

 

Warnock had a few lung busting runs last night which belied his years. But he also did some shocking balls, noticed a few in the second half, nothing chipped balls sent up to Robinson that their defence gobbled up.

I didn't witness Chicksens blackpool horror show but he was being played at right back and I struggle to understand why grayson would do that. Unless it's a fitness thing I'd prefer to see him start over warnock given that he'll probably be around next year

He might come across as a raving lunatic on here but he's a good lad is old sad sack. He's managed to keep me entertained this season in the kop while watching the dross served up at home this season.
