    Been seeing Stephen more and more frequently on the tele.

    Reckon he'll be a good pundit in years to come.

    Good luck, mate, great that City are his first and last club in terms of pro games!!

    What surprised me (or perhaps it shouldn't) was that Simon Parker posted Stephen's tweet hours before the City official site commented. As did the BBC and many others. I have heard Stephen say a few times how much he is enjoying passing on his experience to the youngsters at VP in the way that the old Liverpool hands advised him. He may well become a pundit but I suspect, with his contacts and experience, he is potentially good management material..

    He was interviewed on Radio Leeds yesterday evening. I think he enjoys the punditry he does for Radio 5 but his aim seems to be management. He already has his UEFA B coaching badge and is currently doing his A badge.

    Quite simply we need better.
    Good player in his day but long past his sell by date.
    Good luck to him but he isn’t going to help us sweet fa next year if he didn’t retire.

    Great player with a good career at the top level. He retires with my thanks as he was a give all type of player.

    its weird how hes starting in front of Chicksen and others at the minute considering he is retiring.

    Must still have the hunger and desire in training (obiously experince) Would of kept him at city, shame.
