    The point was intervening in team Selection . Barr has played 13 minutes in the 3-3 draw with Walsall in the 4th game of the season . I wouldn’t call it that edin selects the team on that basis . We’ll have loads of lads who come and go over a season who aren’t good enough who are picked out by scouts or agents alike . What other examples is there that edin picks the team ?

    I thought "Signing players without consulting the manager" was the point that YungNath was referring to rather than intervening in team selection.

    What is giving me the eebie jeebies is the lack of announcements from the owners. We have no idea who the manager is going to be, how are they going to plug the budget or if! In all likelihood we will have about half the attendance of last year, so income to the club will be seriously depleted. We have lost our shirt sponsors and no replacements that we know of.

    If I am anxious no doubt investors and sponsors will be in the same boat, you want to know if your money is going down a black hole. I haven’t felt like this since the dark days of administration.

    Have we actually lost our shirt sponsor? I can not remember the announcement. If it is true I hope they are covering the costs of the redesign of the shirt as last time new shirts were discussed the previous owners said they were sorted in the New Year for the launch in June/July
