He is critical of things that most of the time need criticising. I'll guarantee you not one City fan would complain if we were scoring 3 or 4 a game, ita foolish to suggest otherwise.

I find it curious that previously we were trying to persuade a couple of strikers to drop down to league two, now all of a sudden we are seemingly targeting Maynard or Danny Rose. I know McCall is playing it cool in public but privately he must be pulling his hair out, it can't be easy trying to replace your best striker with three weeks to go until the league starts.

Well as much as I think Maynard would be a great signing for us any link between him and us is pure speculation
