Pleased to see McCall say that we are well under the cap at the moment - it probably puts us in a good position as lots of clubs will have much budget left or certainly the ones we will be classed as been as 'attractive' to come to

So after been duped, once again by another player (hello Doyle, Wyke - funny that they are always strikers!!) it's pleasing to realise that this was probably anticipated anyway

Ok,I'll give you that one but prior to promotion with Northampton
he failed at Charlton and wasn't playing anywhere near as good as
he did for us.

He was sub at Wembley but came on after about 30mins so not a first
choice player but he got a contract extension as a result of promotion
so good luck to him.

I look at the outcome and reflect on our game with Northampton at
Wembley and how things have changed.We've gone in the usual direction.

Parker is hardly the first to break a story these days is he.

Yup Jab, just spoken to my Shots mate and they are really sorry to see him go - I would suggest one to watch out for on how he progresses over the next couple of years. His whole career to date has been in the local area (Met Police and Aldershot) so it is no surprise to me that he has not ventured very far geographically

It would be a big ask for a kid of 18 to cover for Vaughan, no matter what we think about Vaughan I believe he proved he could score even in that team last season, we can only wait and see who McCall has been inquiring about and if they are prepared to drop into league two.

 

There is no way we will get Gelhardt .He is the next big thing, another Wayne Rooney, only 18 and I’m afraid Leeds have got the bargain of the century for a steal, taking advantage of Wigan’s woes ,paid 1 million for him and he’s worth much more. Mind you if we did get him on loan loads on here would moan about signing an 18 year old.
