How is DMH similar to Connolly?

Connolly was pure athleticism, knocking it past defenders and getting there time and time again.

Never seen anything remotely similar from DMH.

 

I agree would much prefer Connolly unfortunately Stuart didn’t which was illustrated in his team selection. Having said that I didn’t think DMH did to badly so we will see how he progresses

 

I know he gets a bit of stick for not exactly breaking any exclusives but at least Simon Parker is back tomorrow, hopefully he has a positive update that we're edging slightly closer towards the next incoming - i'm just a fiend for any sort of transfer news at the moment, any rumour of reasonable credibility to be excited or outraged about will do.

Bring back the Peter Jackson days of us going through 40 players a season, at least the off season was never dull.

 

Wouldn't be surprised to see us playing wing backs wood and sutton

Bowyer was clueless. Unbalanced squad with 15 midfielders. A joke.

 

He does admit we need a RB though, which strongly suggests he doesn't see Sutton as first choice for that position. Encouraging to hear we've got a few friendlies lined up though, hopefully with the first one on Saturday.

 

Could be waiting a while for loans this year. Window is very long compared to normal.
As I’ve said I think we are way short of a decent squad. Could be a long old season particularly if we get any sort of injuries

 

Our squad isn't good enough to challenge at this moment. We need signings.

 

Some championship clubs are back training this week. Hopefully they'll make quick decisions on who they're keeping.

"All it takes is a phone call!" always gets me... Do we take from that, that Stuart is waiting by the phone for agents to call him, trying to tie up deals for their out of contract clients who nobody else wants, or do we have any sort of proactive transfer plan, whereby Stuart does the ringing, actually asking about players he's interested in?!

"All it take is a phone call" suggests its being left to chance, and Stuart isn't working through a list of targets, if he was, you'd think he'd have been through the entire list by this point! All a bit haphazard for my liking im afraid, but so City..

 

It’s waiting for a call about players he has already said he has enquired about from higher divisions. But of course it doesn’t stop people putting a different spin on it

 

Absolutely infuriating outlook.
