McCardle signs for Exeter Devine for Carlisle I get more optimistic every day

 

His record shows a player who played nearly all of his career at a higher level, but then that was the same of Sean Scannell when we signed him and he was dire.

 

Donaldson spent most of his career at a higher level and has a much better strike rate

 

I'll be optimistic when we bring in another 2 or 3 players at least, a decent centre back, a decent wide player who isn't always injured and another central midfielder. Could do with another striker but we need one or two to move first.

 

Unfortunately we signed him about 3 years too late.

That squad doesn't fill me with any confidence at all as it stands. I saw too much of it last year to see glaring holes that haven't been filled.

 

Were we in the premiership two years ago? Must have missed that.

I think I’m right he didn’t miss a game until his injury to his foot last season including cup games and I think he was probably the only one in the squad he certainly looked fitter than most and scored more goals than Delfounsey from 8 games less

 

Be outrage on here if we had signed him.

Bolton laying down a marker at the moment. I could take or leave Delfonuoso(sp) but we do need to bring players in, that squad still has too many of last years failures about.
