Those people are generally right though. It's not often a player proves the fans wrong when there's a big majority.

I wholeheartedly agree - bring back the Central League I say!!!

 

I meant while still at City although I'm not sure Oli McBurnie counts as he didn't get universal stick. Plenty said he needed time to develop and was simply thrown in too early.

 

I just watched Isaiah Rankin miss a one on one against Liverpool in THAT game. Here's one that got far too much game time for his "talent". Would love to see kids get cracked on and push more experienced pros for a first team place. Look at Liverpools approach - now they've got some of the best kids in Europe playing fullback, and a sixteen year old who will be playing for England in next to no time.

 

Webb Foster only one of those heralded. Other two were just decent youth team players.

Foster got that bad injury, out for ages and that was that.

 

DMH was one let’s hope he fulfills his early promise second time round

 

Big call by Stuart, as you say we saw little from him the first time around but Barnsley saw something and took him on, maybe he's a late developer

 

I remember watching him in his first year and I thought he had real promise but he didn’t kick on and I was surprised he got picked up by Barnsley he looked much more mature last season but would have preferred Connolly

 

There was definitely some hype around GSK's progress at City.

Ellis Hudson probably never had any sustained hype, but every time he played he supposedly caught the eye and looked one to watch.

I wouldn't know about that, as I won't ever be watching any JPT football.

 

Any decent wingers knocking about as free agents? Could do with a decent one

 

I still think Ishmael could be a good player for us if he can get and stay fit
