Frustrating yes but realistic yes. Club has little income as few ST sold and little prospect for a while yet. We are broke and will be a while unless someone pays up extra. This is unlikely and I want to see the club survive above all.

 

People I know..I am not sat on a beach retired mate. I know people in high places.

I know lots about Huddersfield Town also....Town, Town, Town....

I don’t think there is any serious interest in getting the club back to where it was when Rupp arrived. There can’t be surely because if there is, it looks like it’s being badly executed. I think it was Sparks who said something like there’s a desire to get back in League 1 and see where it takes us.

It depends on who else comes in, but if it’s limited to Watt and Cooke and a replacement for Vaughan if/when he goes, maybe the odd other player, then you’re right it’s not a season of troubling the play offs.

Hoyle still owns 25% of the club and lucky he's about. That's all I saying.

As for us, we are in trouble because our owner cares more for cars than balls.

 

No income or not, with very little imagination I am sure we could have done better than Clarke, Sutton and DMH.

I'm sorry but does anyone seriously believe Rupp wants £10m for the club. He might have no interest but he is not an idiot. He knows its worth less than he paid for it, but maybe any offer, if there has been one, was a speculative punt to get the club for a pittance.

Ihave said this before, but I think this £10m figure all sprang from something @wetherbywhaler said. He said that, in his opinion, £10m would be the amount required to buy the club AND to seriously take it forward

 

But how are they lucky if they have to find £35m this year to pay him back? I admit perhaps he might not be prepared to see them go to the wall over it

 

Dont get me wrong I wasn't questioning your source @andyc, but as I said £10 mill has been banned about before and it is totally unrealistic, unless its someone with more money than sense, lets hope so.
