    I believe the dividend payment was in the region of £4million each to Richmond and the Rhodes family. so re couped some if not all that they invested. Why not leave that money in until we had established ourselves as a premier league club instead of taking it at the first opportunity.

    What is our budget? £1.5 mil........ We must have some really large outstanding contracts if we were bringing Billy and Co back.....

    Been linked by a dodgy rumour site. He's still contracted at Scunthorpe, so would need to negotiate his release or a fee I guess. To be fair though, I for one wouldn't mind him coming back. He carries the ball well, turns defence into attack and can finish. Weve not had that from a midfielder for a few seasons now. Definitely an improvement on the dross we've let go in my opinion

    Maybe Salford have thought “sod it”, we’ve rich owners who can afford to pay any fine they get for breaking the salary cap. They want to keep moving up the leagues and if it costs them a packet in fines to do so, then so be it.
