    This is bad news,if he flops at Tranmere he will be back here next season,and City will be saddled with a big wage for a player they probably don't want.

    Not sure Vaughan would be good for the team spirit Stuart likes to foster,he was quick to get out when things started going badly.

    Think there might be a bit more too it than him just looking to get out, he must have been quite desperate otherwise why go to Tranmere? Smaller club, even worse pitch! And look certain to be relegated, where as if he’d stayed there was at least an out side chance of him playing in a promotion team and been at league 1 level next year.

    The move from his point of view makes little sense, unless he was given little choice.

    That's only speculation though. For all we know the club may have pretty much forced him to move on.

    One thing's for certain, we are in need of a striker and we currently have one out on loan that's better than anything we currently have.
