If we sign players as back ups, that’s all they will ever be. You have to sign equal with a chance to improve or better than what you’ve got otherwise the other players know they won’t be replaced.

So why did Grodowski decide to go, he still had a12 months contract, he deemed himself not good enough to make first team within his current contract or he would have stayed and fought for a chance.
