    It doesn't matter what set up the likes of Greaves, Law, Clarke, Lineker, Defoe and Cottee played under they scored goes for for every team they played for that's my point, where as Doyle has not, yes he's done well for Wellens but under other managers he's struggled.

    All of those players scored goals because they were a) very good and b) played in teams that created chances for them. When Doyle has played in Wellens' teams they've created chances and he has scored them. I don't know whether Doyle has played in other teams that created chances and has missed them. I just know that we have had a player who is clearly capable of scoring for fun in lower league football, given decent service, and we have abysmally failed to utilise that talent.

    Palmer to Swindon is what TCA are hearing. They've offered him an 18 month contract but not sure if were going to accept the offer.
