It was certainly nothing like the Blackpool game where I honestly feared for some of the players at the end if they came too near the perimeter wall, now that was toxic.

    Oh God....that name....again.

Bring back a manager who won nothing in two attempts with us, admitted he had no idea what to do when it was all going wrong, was fired for failing miserably at the last club he managed and hasn't been employed since and is actually (as a manager) very divisive amongst supporters...yeah exactly what we need!

Jeez can we put the McCrap thing to bed guys...as a manager he is bang average, to poor and we really do not need to go there anymore. We talk constantly about lacking ambition yet we can't see beyond McCrap whenever we think we need a new manager.

Stuart has had six seasons three of them in this league and achieved nothing. His first season the excuse was he had been managing in Scotland and didn’t know the market can you imagine any other new manager getting away with that with the fans

If he's lost the players then he doesn't appear to have lost Pritchard who put out this tweet after the game:

It's at least refreshing to hear one of the players taking some responsibility, it would be easy to stay quiet and let Bowyer take all the flak if they really all wanted him gone.

Posters are only offering there opinions mate do you seriously think the club will sack Bowyer as we stand even less chance if we beat Cheltenham, even if they did I wouldn't think Stuart would be the name in the frame.

I must have been dreaming when McCall got us to within a finger tip save of being 1-0 up in a Wembley play off final despite having Rahic above him. And then still had us in the playoffs when sacked again despite Rahic creating havoc behind the scenes. I'm not for bringing him back, that ship sailed ages ago, but lets not talk the blokes efforts down in his second spell, i find it distasteful.

It is cheap talk in all honesty though - rolling out the cliches. Wouldn’t say it proves or disproves he’s lost the dressing room. That said, I rate Pritchard. He’s an improvement on Scannell and he’d be in my XI.

Ultimately, though, what happens on the pitch is more important and will dictate the tolerance shown by the fans in the stands on Tuesday. We can’t have BRE and A’OC arguing among themselves after conceding soft goals. We can’t have players tinning out of challenges ala Palmer and its about time we gave our strikers some damn service again. Those actions are more important than any Tweets. We fought back at Swindon to get a point. Could we do the same again if the chips were down?

Infact, it starts with Bowyer, with the team and system he puts out. I’m not having that Taylor is anywhere near good enough for this team and if he starts that is one of the indicators we are doomed. We’ve had enough passers by start in midfield this year.

Means nothing that.. in fact it's an insult to all fans that went or bothered listening to them.

Talk is cheap! Harry and the team could of put it right in Saturday. It was clear we were not good enough.

Hate it when players come out with nonsense like this.

Oh and just because he's come out with this doesn't mean Bowyer hasn't lost the dressing room.

You not seen players like Palmer, Reeves pulling out of 50/50's?

I agree. This post suggests to me that the players are admitting the manner of this defeat was down to them and not the manager, therefore we can’t point all fingers at Bowyer for this one (as tempted as many may be to do so).

This brings into question the attitude and desire of the current playing squad, though this post goes a long way in purporting that this was a one off - for whatever reason - and they will give it their all to turn it around on Tuesday.

We got rather good seats on Saturday up near the back to our right was the block expressing there views on Bowyer. To the right rows of fans arms folded stunned silence no happy clappers even. I am one who thought when Bowyer arrived he could be okay how wrong I have been.

Your not wrong give yourself a break. He was a safe pair of hands. We had endured so much, we were always likely to appoint the wrong manager. We wanted too much to rectify the mistakes of Rahic, safe hands ie don’t *@?$ it up, and we wanted promotion straight away as well. The two are actually incompatible. You need creativity and some risk taking to move forward. GB invested in strikers which ok, is probably the most expensive part of the squad. However, we all waited for the midfield to be upgraded as this is the engine of the team, but it didn’t happen.

I think most did his past managerial record suggest he could at least steady the ship which many would have been happy with that, this season is far from over we are Bradford City after all.
Good meeting you and your 3 friends having a beer and talking Bradford City, shame about the game.
