    It would be a genius move off the pitch - PR, media coverage, sponsorship etc. The first of its kind.

    On the pitch it could be a disaster. Embarrassing perhaps.

    Can you tell us more about this? This is the only time this has been mentioned anywhere on the internet. Where did you hear this from?

    There were rumours of Hope Powell potentially managing a men’s football team when she was still the England women’s team manager.
