I can't see this thread has been posted so here it is!

Good news that the lad has signed a 2 year deal. Apparently he's good mates with Charlie so it might persuade him to extend his contract.

Well chuffed he’s signed on for two years. The lad has something special and if he knuckles down this season we could have a very good player on our hands.

If what Grayson said is true, I hope he knuckles down and doesn’t take his foot off the gas and think he’s made it.

This whole 'he's pals with Charlie, might persuade him to stay' thing is really doing my nut in. Its a football team, not a school. Well, now i think about it!!!??

I'm pleased for young Jordan. However, from his 'interview' ..... 'A two year deal takes the worry of your immediate future away' - Perhaps the lad may also acknowledge that it's also down to training and overall attitude, not just playing. Perhaps a parting shot from Stephen Warnock to Jordan played a part ? ;)

I hope so, many a football has made it to the top with very little natural skill, but sheer hard work. However the gutter is littered with talented footbalkers who thought they didn’t need to work hard.

Pleased for the lad and happy he's signed a two year deal.

We could have done far worse than play him more last season. Let's hope he gets more opportunity this season. If he doesn't make it let it be because he didn't take his chances. Good luck to him!

Pleased to see that Jordan is with us for a couple of year, he is one of the players that I feel has it in his locker to become a major player at the club.
I assume Jordan has got the nod that Mark Warburton is definitely not joining us as he released Jordan at Rangers haha

Interesting how SG remarked on his work rate, however earlier in the season Stu promoted JG to the bench ahead of McCartan on merit.
Maybe the fall-out from Yeovil and other incidents affected him, maybe he thought he was going to be frozen out, so to earn a spot late on is commendable.
Also JG can play across the midfield, Stu signed him with the number 10 role in mind, love to see him shine there.
Good luck to him next season, if a player gives his all for the colours, then I'm fiercely protective and supportive of them.

Two years is a good deal for the lad, I'd expected one, but hopefully he proves he's worth the extra investment.

Having read his interview on the T&A website it would appear that "Championship" Grayson was a useless motivator.

Correct!! You need that at any level of football, a good manager/ leader would know how to get a lad with raw talent going, team him up with a nice steady player. it’s called mentoring. I tell you what you don’t do is slag your players off in public, whether they deserve it or not.

I think this lad needs to start a few games and just settle in. He could be the replacement for maybe Alex Gillied he can play both wings or centre mid I think can’t he?

He looked really good anyway just needs some games.
