    Just reading the match day thread and I don't think I've ever seen such a lack of enthusiasm after a win. In light of the tactics and performances this season, Is BowyerS the dullest manager we've had? 5 defenders and 2 holding midfielders at home puts him up there with Peter Taylor for me.

    What are your thoughts?

    Michael Collins pre and post match interviews were pretty dull.

    Hopkins hardly ever made sense.

    Bowyers are up there with McCalls IMHO. Open and honest but never dull.

    So NO Bowyer is not the dullest manager we have had. No where near.

    We’ve one of the best home records in the division. We’ve beaten the league leaders, Swindon, the current second, Exeter, Newport, who made playoffs last year, and Northampton and Mansfield, both of whom were fancied to be up there in pre season.

    If we get out of this league no one will care about ‘bland Bowyer’ or whether we wowed the fans or stole gritty 1-0 wins.

    I still don’t get the ‘BowyerS’ joke that all the whoppers keep using? Is it cos people called Hopkin, ‘Hopkins’ in error (the new Weatherall sic)? Or is it a sausage roll gag???

    Couldn’t care less either way tbh.

    We snapped a frustrating run today, have injuries clearing up, and Doyle is potentially closer to returning.

    And the funniest thing of all is the xG shows we create better chances than anyone else in the division, lol. Relative to the rest in this cesspit we are more creative than the rest.....but why ignore the stats when the rose tinted crew want to push their ‘BowyerS out’ agenda.

    We head into the New Year in a far better place than 12 months ago.
